Old crop Irish dried wheat prices have edged up another €1/t this week with wheat trading at €216/t but barley has eased slightly by €1/t to €213/t. New crop prices have fallen slightly following US and European markets lower as funds moved to liquidate long positions, benign weather favours the US winter wheat crop and markets try to predict spring sowings and supply estimates for the 2012 harvest.
